Geoff Ridgway uses 3D software to create his images, he has been accused by a small number of purists that hiswork is not art; I disagree as art is a process of the mind, and the computer is just a tool that enables that process, just the same as a brush or pencil.

With the exception of his early work, most of his images are from animations, but he has never embarked on being an animator.

He first exhibited my work at Erotica 2001 and was amazed by the response, since then his work has featured in Skin Two, Desire, Digital Beauties and was also nominated as Erotic artist of the year 2002.

Unlike conventional artists he sells signed prints but also sell hsi art in the form of multimedia erotic books on CD’s that he distributes at shows or from his website, the CD’s contain erotic stories, illustrations and animations, each disc can take over two years produce, the discs are proving to be very popular especially with couples..

There has also been a great interest in bespoke animated loops for clubs; these can be projected onto backdrops etc, surprisingly Ministry of sound were amoung his first clients.

His work is also being taken seriously by the adult channels and he is in the process of producing a pilot for an adult networking company which will be screened later this year
